Alexander Palacios (born 20 July 1982) is a German artist based in Basel, Switzerland. Born to a German mother and Peruvian father and growing up in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Palacios started his career in 2002. Alexander Palacios won the Hasselblad Junior Contest in 2010, with a portrait of supermodel (Ajak Deng ).〔http://bazonline.ch/basel/stadt/Lieber-ausserhalb-als-im-Fokus/story/22464240〕 Palacios free-lance career brought him to Basel, Switzerland where he opened his atelier in 2010.
